Celebrating our 11th summer music camp for young musicians age 7-18!
Five unique camps in one learning separately and together:
Jazz Camp Open to middle school and high school students, the focus is on improvisation, with a unique rhythm section workshop ensemble for pianists, bassists, guitarists, and drummers.
Classical Music Camp Open to students of all ages, the focus is on chamber music and large ensemble performance.
Piano Camp Open to campers of all ages, Piano camp focuses on the ensemble experience and hands-on theory of piano harmony in state-of-the-art keyboard lab.
Rock Camp Open to middle school and high school students, guitarist focus on rock guitar technique, while pianists, bassists, and drummers participate a unique Rhythm Section Workshop ensemble
Vocal Camp Open to campers of all ages and focuses on technique with performance experience available in jazz or classical vocal ensembles.
Camps are divided into 4 achievement levels based on age and ability:
Elementary - Band, Piano, Guitar, Voice, and Orchestra
Intermediate - Vocal, Jazz, Classical Instrumental, Piano, and Rock
Pre-college - Vocal, Jazz, Classical Instrumental, Piano, and Rock
Honors - Classical Chamber Music, Classic Jazz (Instrumental and Vocal), Latin Jazz, Composition, and Musical Theatre
The Young Musicians' Summer Music Camp for students ages 7 - 18, now in its eleventh year, is held at the University of Miami Frost School of Music in Coral Gables, Florida.

The mission of the Young Musicians’ Camp is to provide a musical experience of the highest quality to elementary through senior high school aged children. Recognizing the unlimited potential of all children when nurtured in a rich environment, the camp strives to bring together children from a wide variety of ethnic, cultural, and financial backgrounds to share in the joy of making music.
Exciting Guest Artists! Our 2010 Guest Artists include, Concert Pianist Paul Posnak, Jazz Great multi-instrumentalist Ira Sullivan, Dean Shelly Berg, Grammy-award winning vocalist, Jon Secada, and The Delray String Quartet. All students will be able to hear our guest artists perform in concert.
