Fifth Annual Simon Salz Memorial Concert On Saturday July 9th, we are thrilled to present to the South Florida community veteran jazz artist IRA SULLIVAN and vocalist WENDY PEDERSEN. This is a musical event not to be missed, plus the proceeds from this concert will provide scholarships to give our community’s talented, but financially needy young musicians the opportunity to attend summer camp at UM! The Young Musicians' Summer Music Camp for students ages 7 - 18, now in its 12th year, is held at the University of Miami Frost School of Music in Coral Gables, Florida.

The mission of the Young Musicians’ Camp is to provide a musical experience of the highest quality to elementary through senior high school aged children. Recognizing the unlimited potential of all children when nurtured in a rich environment, the camp strives to bring together children from a wide variety of ethnic, cultural, and financial backgrounds to share in the joy of making music.

Exciting Guest Artists! Our 2010 Guest Artists included, Dean Shelly Berg, Concert Pianist Paul Posnak, Jazz Great multi-instrumentalist Ira Sullivan, and Grammy-award winning vocalist, Jon Secada. All students will be able to hear our guest artists perform in concert.
