Community Service Program
Students entering grades 10, 11, or 12 with leadership skills are encouraged to apply to this program. They should complete the regular online camp application, plus the Community Service Program application. Each participant will be awarded:
Session A: 104 Community Service Hours.
Session B: 80 Community Service Hours.
Qualified applicants are accepted on a first-come basis. A registration fee of $75 for session A, $50 for session B, or $100 for both sessions, is due upon acceptance into the program.
(Financial aid is available) Lunch is included.
There are several strands in the Community Service Program:
- A) Counselor: Applicants must exhibit a strong sense of responsibility and excellent interpersonal and leadership skills. Participants will be working with a small group of campers.
- B) Special Needs Counselor: Applicant will work one on one with a camper who has special needs.
- C) Technical: Applicant will assist Head Counselor and Staff. Duties will include set up and break down of stage equipment for concerts, talent shows and jam sessions.
