Biography
OSCAR DORTA
Oscar Dorta has performed as a drummer / percussionist for 35 years. His experience as a touring musician spans the globe, namely the U.S.,Asia,South America,and Europe.
Well versed in all styles of music,he is also a private drum instructor, having been taught by many leading drum alumni at the University of Miami in the 80's.
In addition to being a Los Angeles session player/performer in the early 90's, playing in the orchestra for Disney's 'High School Musical', and touring with the band'Wild Cherry'and actresses Maria Conchita Alonso and Lucia Mendez, Oscar also heads his own group 'Skintrade'.
Skintrade is a progressive rock group that incorporates sections of songs and samples triggered from the drumset while performing live. He is also the main songwriter for the group and currently tours with them.
His T.V. on stage appearances include Bonnie Tyler, the late Tito Puentes,latin pop star Ricardo Montaner among many others.
Oscar also currently freelances with R&B, latin jazz,and rock groups in S.Florida.
JUSTIN HOUSE

Justin House is currently a student at the University of Miami and has been studying music for twelve years. He started teaching private percussion lessons age fourteen. Justin is an accomplished percussionist and along with all percussion instruments has been trained to teach music theory and coach small musical groups. Currently he directs a drum line at Archbishop Colman Carroll High School, plays at St. John Newmann’s Catholic Church and teaches private lessons. Justin first started out as a camper on scholarship at the University of Miami’s Young Musician’s Camp, then became a counselor and now serves as member of the faculty. He is a eagle scout and a trained adult leader with the Boy Scouts of America.
BRIAN POTTS
Percussionist Brian Potts is active as a versatile performer in classical, Brazilian, Latin, and other popular styles of music. After beginning his studies in his home state of Texas, he received his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in percussion at the University of Miami. Under the tutelage of Dr. Ney Rosauro, Brian performed and conducted in groups ranging from large orchestras to small jazz ensembles. Comfortable in numerous musical settings, Brian has shared the stage with eminent musicians such as Sammy Figueroa, Bruce Hornsby, Nestor Torres, Sonny Emory, Steve Miller, Jean Geoffroy, Victor Mendoza, Pablo Ziegler, Patti Austin, Nelson Faria, and Ney Rosauro. Brian currently teaches at Barry University, Broward College, and Nova Southeastern University, and is also the vibraphonist for the Cal Tjader tribute group, “Sally’s Tomato.” Having performed across the United States, as well as the Caribbean, South America, Europe, and Asia, Brian continues to pursue his musical interests across the globe.
